Terms of Use (PLACEHOLDER DRAFT)

Mythanvil Private Beta 1.0. Draft dated October 9, 2026. This is a placeholder. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Replace it with reviewed terms before you sell or distribute the app.

[COMPANY NAME, LLC] ("we") provides Mythanvil (the "App"). By using the App you agree to these terms.

1. Adults only. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use the App.

2. Bring your own key. The App connects directly from your browser to xAI using your own xAI API key. You are xAI's customer for that usage. You must follow xAI's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, and you pay xAI for what you use.

3. AI-generated content. Story text, character dialogue, voices and images are generated by artificial intelligence. They may be inaccurate, offensive or unexpected. Characters are fictional and are not real people. Do not rely on outputs as facts or advice.

4. Acceptable use. You may not use the App to: create sexually explicit content; create any sexual content involving minors; sexualize, impersonate or depict real people without consent; harass or threaten anyone; infringe anyone's intellectual property; or break the law or xAI's policies. The App includes built-in content limits. You may not try to bypass them.

5. Your content. You own the worlds, characters and stories you create, subject to xAI's terms. You are responsible for what you create, import and share. Do not import worlds that infringe other people's copyrights or trademarks.

6. Built-in worlds. The built-in worlds are original works by [COMPANY NAME], drawn from public-domain history and myth. They are licensed to you for personal use with the App.

7. Reporting. Use the ⚑ Report button to flag problem content. Send exported reports to ethangarland83+mythanvil@gmail.com.

8. No warranty; limitation of liability. The App is provided "as is", without warranties. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for API charges you incur. [TO BE DRAFTED BY COUNSEL]

9. Changes. We may update these terms. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the new terms.
